Floating Fishing Village In Ha Long Bay

Located in the northeast of Hanoi Vietnam, Halong bay is famous for its cultural and historical reasons. It was recognized as  heritage sites by unesco in 1994 and new seven natural wonders of the world in 2011.
Viewed from above, Halong Bay resembles a geographic work of art. While exploring the bay, you feel lost in a legendary world of stone islands. This bay is home to many ancient fishing villages all over of Halong bay as Vung Vieng Fishing Village, Viet Hai Fishing Village, Cong Dam Fishing Village and Cua Van fishing Village. All of them are playing very important roles in the beauty of halong bay.

Fishing villages usually locate far from shore, near mountain cliff as valleys on sea.
Generations of fishing villages live on boats and associated with sea. They consider boat as their house, sea as countryside, associated with Ha Long bay with their soul and body. Children at the age of 4 know how to hold paddles for swimming.. They have all on fishing villages as floating houses, floating schools for their children, fishfarms, pearl farm and temples for paying as well.

Cua Van fishing village
According to Journeyetc.com, Cua Van fishing village has voted as one of the most 15 beautiful ancient villages in the world.  It is not only a pristine village but also a romantic village.
These things helped Cua Van fishing village became a rarity in the 16 villages still retain its beauty glamor world. The lives of the people here have not been disturbed by modern life.
Visiting the village, tourists have a chance to experience the villagers’ daily life as well as the traditional culture and customs of the fishermen, who live in the World Heritage Area of Halong Bay.
In order to come to Cua Van fishing village (Van Gia fishing village) visitors can take a boat from Halong Bay or you can also go from Ben Beo harbour, Cat Ba to visit Lan Ha Bay then visit Cua Van fishing village. When you come here, you can go kayaking to visit the village, visit children school then you can kayak to visit a Dark cave and Bright cave where you can see alot of colourful coral.
Vung Vieng floating village

Vung Vieng is located in the heart of Bai Tu Long Bay, 24 km from the mainland. You are not only be immersed in the quiet and peaceful location viewing the charming landscape, and discovering the cultural life of the fishermen but also will be directed aboutt sailing, pulling & dropping net off and fishing.
Youwill be enchanted by the beauty of the boats, the nets in front of the house, the simple but hospitable fishermen, and the small children smiling as they go to school. This idyllic scene shows the traditional character of a fishing village on the sea.
VIET HAI VILLAGE:Located on Cat Ba island by Halong bay, Viet Hai fishing village is one of the most ancient and beautiful villages in Halong bay areas.

 The village belongs to Cat Ba National park and surrounded by limestone mountains. There are 80 households living here with hundreds of years ago. They were originally from Halong bay. They live in fishing, farming and homestay for tourists.

Cong Dam floating village
Cong Dam fishing village is located on Bai Tu Long bay. It is quite far from halong bay or Bai Chay tourist port. Cong Dam village is home to over 120 fishermen. There is also the area which includes many coral reefs, underground limestone, underwater caves, etc. Besides, surrounding Cong Dam village are many different islets and beautiful beaches with white, smooth sand and clear, blue waters, such as Tra Gioi, Cay Bang and Cat Oan beaches
The most outstanding highlight in Cong Dam is a small ancient village floating on a vast expanse of clear water.
